Epiphone Emperor Joe Pass 2003 Overhaul Project

Your guitar was made at the Unsung Plant, Korea on February, 2003.

A lot of work was required on the frets and fretboard, this stunning guitar is in near perfect condition, however it has been played a lot and the frets were worn and the fretboard needed a big clean up.

Breakdown of project:

• Strip down
• Complete clean up of body, neck and hardware.
• Fret Level, Crown & Polish to remove divots.
• Replace Neck Pickup with a Bare Knuckle Stormy Monday Humbucker in Gold!
• Replace Electrics with AxeKool Emperor Vintage Harness
• New Jazz Strings
• Full Setup

Thank you for the Epiphone upgrade. I’ve tried it out and the new pickup sounds fantastic. I’m a huge Wes Montgomery fan and the Stormy Monday gets very close to that warm percussive tone that you get from a PAF pickup on a Gibson L5.
