Q: Do you work on left handed guitars?
A: Hey, Don’t be “left” out! Yes no problem at all, we have done many.
Q: Are my guitars safe with AxeKool
A: Yes, we take a great deal of care with our clients guitars while being worked on and we do not store any guitars in the workshop over night.
Q: Can I drop off more than one guitar for repairs and setups?
A: Yes, we have clients who regularly drop off 3 or 4 guitars at the same time.
Q: How do I book my guitar in for work/setup etc?
A: All you need to do is call or text us on our mobile 07483 167155 or call our landline 01242 500721 or Email us via our Contact Page and we will confirm a convenient day and time for drop off. Once your guitar is ready, we will let you know and confirm a convenient day and time for you for collection.
Q: Do I need to bring my guitar in to you in its case?
A: Yes please if possible, guitars really need to travel and be stored in a case of some kind.
Q: How do I pay / Do you accept payment by bank card?
A: We accept all major debit/credit cards on collection of your guitar via a card machine in the workshop for your convenience or you can pay cash or bank transfer.
Q: How long does it take to repair my guitar?
A: This depends on the size of the project/repair. Most basic work is done within 24-48 hours.
Q: Can I ship my guitar to you for repair?
A: Yes, But, it is at your own risk. I would always recommend a personal visit, especially with instruments of high value or of sentimental value. You will need to send a courier to collect once the work is complete, again this is at your risk.
Q: If I send you images of my broken guitar, can you tell me if its possible to repair and give me an idea of the price to fix it?
A: Yes we are happy to do this. The price will be a guide until we have had the opportunity to inspect the guitar in person.
Q: Do you buy used/secondhand guitars?
A: Yes we do and consider all guitars for purchasing once they have been inspected.
Q: Do you sell used/secondhand guitars?
A: Yes we do and consider all guitars for selling, however this service is for clients, But anyone can list on our Facebook Group
