Les Paul

Gibson’s most successful guitar model is the Les Paul, which first sold in 1952. Its design features a solid mahogany body with a carved maple top and a single cutaway, a mahogany set neck with a rosewood fretboard, two pickups which are typically humbuckers with independent volume and tone controls and a stoptail bridge. There are many variations of the models. Early models are very collectable and valuable.
