Guild Guitars is a USA based guitar manufacturer founded in 1952 by Alfred Dronge, a jazz guitarist and music store owner, and George Mann, a former executive with the Epiphone Guitar Company. The first Guild Guitars are produced for Jazz music, due to Al Dronge’s passion for jazz music. Guild concentrated for the first solely on the production of full depth hollow body electric guitars.
Guild musicians include Barry Gibb, Duane Eddy, Eric Clapton, Eva Cassidy, John Denver, Muddy Waters, Paul Simon, Sheryl Crow, Slash, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Tom Petty to name but a few…
